New Tracks Up!

I am purchased and am in the process of uploading several new tracks to the station. These include selections by two of Jazz's Greatest-both in talent and influence. First is Bird, next is Django Reinhardt. these are going into random rotation based upon copyright compliance guidelines and are part of an ever-growing collection designed to entertain and hopefully expand your musical experience.
Next on the list is the remainder of Husker Du's towering monument to sonic bliss: 'Flip Your Wig' proving that punks can right catchy pop tunes and that louder is ALWAYS better.
A brief side note, one of the tracks I heard while writing this update was by Nashville artist Will Hoge, a highly underrated great, not only as a songwriter, but as a performer. I discovered him accidentally when I went to see another band and Will and his band absolutely floored me-to the point that one song in particular "Someone Elses's Baby" nearly brought tears to my eyes. I actually have trauma issues with that song now-but that is a story for another blog.
Check Will out. The album is called "Blackbird on a Lonely Wire".
...and as always, don't forget to click on the 'Now Playing' widget in the upper right hand corner of the blog to be instantly connected to thedrunkenscoundrel.com internet broadcast.
