A Spirited Celebration Of America's 'Cocktail Culture' : NPR

A Spirited Celebration Of America's 'Cocktail Culture' : NPR:
"As you enter Cocktail Culture, an intoxicating exhibit of apparel, accoutrement and ephemera at the Rhode Island School of Design's Museum of Art, it's hard not to think of Billy Strayhorn's lyrics in his jazz standard 'Lush Life"
Just uploaded the Strayhorn classic in honor of this fine story about things near and dear to the Scoundrel's heart: Booze, music, and really cool things to drink out of.
If yer drinkin' out of a paper cup, in good company, listening to good music, you are cool, but drinking hooch out of a flagon designed by this guy is even cooler. Just imagine, he invented streamlining in modern design, fathered  actress Barbara  Bel Geddes, and invented the flying car.
