...and Oh, Yeah, Aliens: Mayan Documentary Will Show Evidence of Alien Contact, Says Mexico (Exclusive) | Reuters

Mayan Documentary Will Show Evidence of Alien Contact, Says Mexico (Exclusive) | Reuters: "A new documentary about Mayan civilization will provide evidence of extraterrestrial contact with the ancient culture, according to a Mexican government official and the film's producer.

"Revelations of the Mayans 2012 and Beyond," currently in production, will claim the Mayans had contact with extraterrestrials, producer Raul Julia-Levy revealed to TheWrap.

"Mexico will release codices, artifacts and significant documents with evidence of Mayan and extraterrestrial contact, and all of their information will be corroborated by archaeologists," said Julia-Levy, son of actor Raul Julia. "

Disclosure Will Be Incremental:
So, I included the topic of Aliens, UFOs, etc. in this website because it has long been a favorite subject-but always in a kid-like, X-Files, Rod Serling fan kinda way. I have always been interested in a lot of weird stuff-I think my musical taste proves that, but I am also pretty agnostic about things. Lately however, I hear more and more things that are making me less agnostic about the concept of alien life. I am not going to come right out and become a believer-but I want  to believe.
Sure, this could all just be a publicity stunt, but they are making some pretty black and white claims about the conclusion to be drawn from their information. Making these sorts of claims and saying your information came via the government of a country is a pretty dicey affair. You are really staking your reputation on the reputation of people who have a lot more power than you do and it could potentially be a risky proposition. I am not saying you risk getting whacked, but I am saying that careers and reputations have been ruined over far less.
The other thing to consider is the incremental nature of any (possible) disclosure. Releasing the information slowly over time could greatly lessen the feared societal impact of a UFO landing on the White House lawn. What better way but to begin with things like an independently produced documentary....just sayin'...
Enjoy, Scoundrels
Cheers! C
