BBC News - Seti Live website to crowdsource alien life: "A website has been launched that aims to get the public involved in the search for extraterrestrial life.

Announced at the TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design) conference in Los Angeles, the site will stream radio frequencies that are transmitted from the Seti (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) Allen Telescope Array."

SETI's crowdsourced search for alien life puts all of us in the driver's seat and hands us some of the responsibility. I would be very interested to see if the human brain can find things the computers can't. I personally have seen people eyeball things like ultra-precise mechanical measurements and custom pain colors with no artificial assistance.....
