The Raveonettes Somehow Reinvent the World's Second-Most-Depressing Song Into Something Beautiful - "The End" - The Raveonettes

I have long said that merely listening to the Raveonettes will make you cooler....this is proof.
For the new Doors tribute album on Cleopatra Records, they have re-worked the second-most depressing song in Rock n' Roll history from a solemn 11:43, to a dreamy, beautiful 3:35.
Seriously. It is as beautiful as a bottle of Jack, a Flexoril, half a joint, and not having to do anything tomorrow except drink more.
I mean that as a compliment.

Want to know the #1 most depressing song on rock history...(yes, lame clickbait for next week)?
Cheers, C.
